I couldn't resist testing the limits of my favorite medium, Premo Sculpey, and I'd bet this is only the beginning. This dragon is on a wire base, and that little bit of wingtip is the only thing holding her aloft as she circles around the woman, who patiently waits for her to land. This sculpture got me my second consecutive "Best 3-D" award in VisionCon (Springfield, MO), so I'm rather happy. This piece is about 10" long by 10" tall by 14" wide. Made of Premo Sculpey on a wire base. Painted with metallic and pearl acrylic paints. Eyes are Lapis Lazuli. There are more pictures available on my site. It just takes too many to load here on Elfwood. And she is FOR SALE!
