Like the night blanketed in ebony, A bed like a tomb, Midnight sounds in death ears, I am but a child in the woods, My blind eyes search into nothingness, My heart aches for rescue. What lurks in dark caverns of memories repressed Of shattered dreams and spoild childhoods. I am lost in a void within myself. Darkness now lives at dawn, and daylight is but a memory. What lurks in the dark You imagine unconsciously. You and your ghosts, You and your dreams, you and your memories of lost days and lost innosence. Nothing is what it seems. Where am I? Lost...within a void. Written by Aimee Maldonado Lost within shell. Lost within Myself!
