Second in the crossover series is the Svastika, Here Diane and Aphrodite of Greek/Roman mythology pose on the ancient India symbol 'Svastika' in Sanskrit for luck. But this symbol was used all over the world from Asia to Southamerica and in America by the Navajo tribes. In Sweden (that I know of at least) it was up untill 1930s used as a warning sign for high currant electricity. Then deranged 'historians' of the naziperiod managed to make this their symbol by constructing history to suit their means, wich is a shame really... (Im taking it back now if in a ever so small way, You should do the same) I made it imposible for neonazi use by the designs inability to be tilted 45 degreas just to be on the safe side, Im an illustrator not a pretantious artist after all, i.o.w. Im here to draw, not provoke for the hell of it! Diana of the Romans mythology was eventually conected to the goddess Arthemis of the Greek, She was here the good luck charm for hunting and protector of chasity (so its funny that she gets along so well with Aphrodite here;) Arthemis was usually followed by a deer of some kind, I just gave her this nice headpieace instead. Aphrodite on the other hand had the Roman equilient of 'Venus' and also Jewish 'Ishtar' (so its one big happy family them gods and goddesses;) I equiped Aphrodite with a urn containing the magic potion that make people fall for one an another, its wine for all I know really (you have to be intoxicated in some way to fall in love, yes?;) Well there is a lot more to be said on this subject, But I have to stop somewhere...
