I love the works of Neil Gaiman. The series about the Sandman are amazing, but almost all his stories are fantastic and are hard to forget. This is from a short comic named Harlequin Valentine, and it immediatly caught my heart. The story about the anthropomorphic personification Harlequin, a trickster known from the italian commedia dell'arte, who gives his heart to a mortal woman named Missy. She, though, finds an unexpected way to deal with this... Harlequin belongs to Harlequin Valentine, a story Neil Gaiman wrote and John Bolton illustrated. Black ink and red markers, 2007.
