This amicable marine mammal is a mermaid who makes her home off the coast of mexico collecting catholic relics and memoriabilia that sink with ships or otherwise find themselves on the ocean floor. She isn't particularly religious, she is just facisnated with the beliefs and the beauty of the objects. One of her favorite passtimes is to go touring the shrines that people build out on small islands to the virgen. As with nearly all my mermaids, she is mammalian, more related to a dolphin than a fish, and hence her whole body is covered with a thick aquatic, dolphin-like skin and thus- no need to censor if you know what I mean. :) Her name? Marina Graciela Ortega de la Cruz of course :) Watercolor and black ink.
