This is a somewhat low-poly model background I created using Maya, Photoshop, and ZBrush. This is the first time I've used normal mapping for my texturing, so it was pretty exciting for me. I still have some more items to model to complete the image, but this is it so far. This is meant to be the hidden entrance to an ancient city buried deep within the mountain. Those who enter that do not belong are turned to stone. Eventually, I will have the stone statues modeled that line the pathway and face towards the entrance. Additionally, I have a couple trees to add.
