Vassago, Shadow of the Mirror   One of the most intriguing piece from "The Forbidden Knowledge of Guorun". Not just the image itself but from the surviving test that pertains to it. To date, its the only occurance in the manuscripts where the creature in the image is named. Vassago made known that it wished to be revealed and thus announced its named to Lady Guorun. The surviving text and image itself see to reflect this desire to be revealed. Written documents say that when the image was discovered in the burning rubble, it layed in an area were all other documents were all but nearly ashes. The manuscript itself was still burning when founded, especially the shadowiy image of Vassago himself. The individuals who discovered it describes that though engulfed in flames, it seemed to show much more resilience to the fire than any other. The spot where the very image of Vassago himself was is said the be where the flames burned most intense, yet to they're amazement it survived the blaze. Its been noted that the manuscripts of Vassago had a mysterious aura that can be felt by those that touched it. The eyes of Vassago remains as it was when first found and it shows no signs of deterioration or scorching. It is as though image itself has been possessed. This may explain the extra scriptures on the tablet which this image now rests upon. All pieces of the manuscripts, text and images were placed on stone tablets with magical seals to prevent them from further damage. The tablet on which the image of Vassago rests has a second spell in place. Its purpose is rumored to conceal the energy being released from the scripts. Due to the fact that all the manuscripts and tablets have been encased in a crystal forms that cannot be bypassed with out detroying the items they hold, it is uconfirmed  as to whether the image possesses such features. Also to what exact spell the second magical seal pertains is still in debate since the image obstructs most of it. One must note that Lady Guorun is noted is saying that she has never looked at her reflection and shodow the same again after the encounter. Though never really confirmed, Vassago's existence has been accepted by many on the reason the he exists in a alternate world that lies just beyond our reflections and the darkness cast by our shadows.   Lady Guorun~ "...fallen into the abyss...pierced...rained down...mirror adornded by the faces...wanted and me...reflection turn...spoke, " ...called me Vassago. The...will know my shall perish..." . awe..."
