Hinata and Miruna

Hinata and Miruna are the children of sungod Sorin and seagoddess Asherah, who belong to the pantheon my niece Anne and me created for our story Tale of the Traitor (which can be found here: http://annika14.elfwood.com/). Dear Hinata, god of flowers, inherited the sweet, sunny side of his father's character. Miruna, goddess of peace, although sometimes naieve and apparently easy-going, nevertheless possesses a strong sense of purpose. This picture is supposed to be a formal, stylized representation of the brother and sister, like one of those great windows in cathedrals which tell a story. It was also much inspired by Mucha's work. It is part of a series of eight, which grace the eight walls of the Dragonrider's Temple (and now also this gallery...). The other windows show:Lunalt and Rhosyn      -       Sorin and Asherah     -      Ivorm and Takeshi Myron and Morana       -      Shinobu and Yoshi     -       Remiel and Savio  Tsukiko

The Tale of the Traitor - Part 2

This story is set in a medievalish setting and comes with dragons, gods and magic. It was written by my incredibly talented niece Anne and myself. I'm insanely proud of this story, but I'm always open to suggestions and corrections (especially on the English, since it is not our native language). Anne can be found here. She gave me her permission to publish the story here as well. Summer 2007. Update summer 2008.
