FINALLY! A name! These guys are a combo I made up- kinda dog/dolphin. They are mammals and live in water at about the deepest level sealions can go, though they come up for air. They are playful and fun. They have nostrils like sealions but also gills to breathe underwater. Yes, I know their in the wrong spot, but it just seemed like the right place. The gills are usually closed up tight against the body, so it looks like stripes. They are very long and sinuous, so they can twist and turn in impossible ways. The fin kinda got lost in the scan so bear with me.

The Aija (background info, revised)

This is the description and background of the Aija. They are the main race in most of my stories. This will help you understand them.

What is Truth?

The first chapter of the story of a woman with the ability to 'read' the truth of what people say and do. Her daughter, Elealeh Byrne will figure into my ongoing story that I haven't quite polished to the point of uploading (the one you are all so anxiously awaiting. hrumph) My this is so fun, aluding to a story for which I haven't even decided on a plot.

The Bonding

Part of a journal of one Mishael Kèros and what happened to him when he first got his Journeyman status.

Atmida's Legacy

Check out Atmida at my gallery! This is from the past of Aijalon. It is written from the viewpoint of Aoife Aloiread and as if she were including a short rendering in her memoires or something. 'In a land of mystery and intrigue one woman is able to see truth to purge Aijalon of the tyranny of King Zanriel Amoseth D’Valiere. This is her story…'

The Disdain of Agar

*soon to come: picture of Agar in my art page* In the days of wicked King Zanriel, a new beast sprang up from the earth. Its only purpose to exact retribution. Forever seeking peace, finding only eternal torment.

Sorrow of Lirael

A poem about a woman whose betrothed was killed by her mother Keireila, the Theif of Time. Keireila was once a mortal woman, but she stole the Diamond of Time that keeps time moving at a steady and constant rate. By this act any children she would bear would take on the roles of Life Beginner, Life Ender, and Perpetuator. Lirael was given the duty of Life Ender.
