Sehla watched, a mixture of melancholy and of hope. His wings, his wings no longer ached and something in his heart made it feel... no longer numb. A breath, arms about himself; whatever else would change, he had this moment to remember peace. Drawn as my anniversary present for my hubby, so it has a special meaning for me. It also marked my first experimenting with making more dynamic wings.... which apparently I got mostly wrong, until J. Douglas gave me tips on how to change them. (Thanks Jess) Unfortunately, that was done after the piece was inked so fixed it as best I could on the compy.
