This was made about the same time I discovered Painter. And at the same time, it’s one of the best pictures I ever made using only a computer and a tablet. As the more experienced people can see I just started making an eye. Then I scribbled some more and there was a part of a dragonhead emerging. Ok, I thought, I like that. But then this head was just floating on a white plane, without any background. Then I made a background that had me surprised, by its quickness and still appropriate. So, now you can see a flying dragons head with sad eyes above a castle and the sea. What I like about this picture is the scales of the dragon, its flaming hair around the eye and the moon behind. I don’t quite like the sea waves, and the fact that the eye isn’t that merged with the rest of the body. Furthermore I do like the fact that this is one of my best works with Painter, but I’ll stay happily with Adobe for now. Medium used: Painter.
