The cat's name is Eris. She's the main and title character in a free-time comic I'm trying to put together. She's not straight up mean, but she's not a very nice person either. She's the type of person that's sarcastic a good 90% of the time. Kinda cold at times, but in a funny to the reader way. When I get enough strips done, I'll probably run it as a weak web-comic or something. My friends like it so far, and I'd like to see if other people would too. She doesn't look realistic. That's the style I'm going for, so don't lecture me on that. Also, the fading in the eyes is another decision I made on purpose. It's the look I want. The fairy looks horrible, I know. I can't draw the human body, so I went with a sillouette that would match the style of the comic. This isn't an actual scene from the comic. In fact, ear-tugging fairies probably won't be in it at all. I just made this pic, because I needed to practice doing color and stuff, and I wanted to try out some textures. There's no background, because I was too lazy. I'm happy with Eris' expression; one eye is supposed to be closed more than the other, for the record; she's wincing. I'm not sure about that laid back ear though... I gave it a shot. Well, drawn with mechanical pencil, inked with a gel, ball-point pen, scaned and gone over and colored in PSP. I may add some speech later, just to give you an idea of what she's like. I dunno.
