Details: This is my second ever scratch art drawing (The first being a lame portrait of Frankenstein's Monster.), and also happens to be the one of the first times I used this high of a contrast in my drawing... I didn't draw another picture or sketch it out first or have any referance to go from, I just lightly outlined the shape of him and went at it. (Later erasing the faint pencil marks.) Kind of cool looking I guess... I could do a way better one now, but everyone I've showed it to likes it, so I guess I'll put it up!Medium: 8 1/2" x 11" scratchboard (and scratch pen of course)Time: A little over an hour?Inspiration: None, really. "I was thinking "what would look good in high contrast? ...Fire!" And of course what spews fire? ...Dragons!Date: Early 2003No story for him, he's just breathing a ton-o-fire.What do you think he's doing? Lighting a dark area? Showing off? Breathing fire in terrible anger? Sending a mating signal? Giving an enemy a warning blast, or maybe spewing victory flames after a gruesome kill?
