Haven's Priestess- Wendarind

Sci fi/Fantasy image by

This is Wendarind, sister to Partene, the heroine. She is High- Priestess to her people, in their hidden refuge, the Haven. In her bowl she sees the sufferings and celebrations of her people's future. She was made High-Priestess after her 5 brothers were killed in battle- Partene was meant to have Wendarind's role, but she sacrificed it to avenge her people's torment, and the blood shed by her family. But alas, later on, Wendarind is forced to marry a dark Lord, Orion- who poisons her after discovering that she was secretly 'married' to her lover a few nights before. Wendarind dies in her sister's arms- who was planning to assinate Orion by disguising herself as his mistress. Partene is heart broken, and in her rage burns the Dark Lord's fortress- with him and his army trapped inside. Partene is then the only member left of her family- an ancient royal line and is therefore sole heir to her father's usurped throne.
