That is the consequences of throwing yourself too far into the fae realms. Don't drink nor sup with the fae or they will have you forever!
Normal doppelganger lore states that when your dopperganger crosses your path it means the end of your life is upon you. Well, in this poem I take that a step further and the doppelganger takes over his doubles life after bringing about the man's death himself.
Yay, the Unseelie sidhe. They hold over the court of the dark fae and so tend to be more truthful in their nature to be more mischievous, tricky or down right evil. They are more than happy to take advantage of some poor stupid mortal that willingly walks into their grasp.
