You probably guessed it, her name is Morgana. Not that one from Arthurian legends, but she's named after her, both by her parents and by myself. She is also a sorceress, a good one, and a modern one, though she can be dangerous - for those who doublecross her or her friends. She can be strict, but she is friendly. I have learned that her name means "sea circle" - so the colours fit it, though I didn't know it when I started drawing her. It started as a study of pose - someone with staff. Made by pencil and coloured pencils (and hairspray). I started moths ago, then left her somewhere and finnished her now (9.5.2006). That somewhere didn't help her, the paper was creased a bit, so I also cleaned her in Photoshop. But still it somehow doesn't look so good on computer... I'm rather proud of this picture, because my grandma liked it - and that means something! And also because I had no problems with hands. It doesn't mean they are perfect (what is?), but that they finally look O.K.
