well, since I'm allowed to have up to 100 pics, I won't replace the other coloured one. I tried to give the elf an used, old, golden look. He's washed off, or something. Dunno what he's been through, but you can see, he's totally innocent. I like the way the meremaids' colour worked out with this background colour. I'm not sure what to do with the instument. I happen to know a nice detail about the meremaids' fin. The lines you see I drew, thetwists, curls, they're whisps of muscle. Muscle strings. When she's (yeah I think it's a she..) in the water, the strings slightly 'open up', seperate. Depending on how strong the current is, meaning on how fast she wants to go in contrast with the current, her fin spreads out wider. Between every couple of muscle strings appears an unworldly thin piece of.. something between slime and skin. But it's the strongest part of her whole body, stronger than any part of our body. (That's why pixies and sóme elfs want to catch those creatures this eager. Amphibian meremaids' fins can be used also on land, remaining their strength.) When she's swimming, and we'd look closely, the onely thing noticable about the tail are the spread muscles - and a silver glow.. It's really beautiful, it's like moonlight glitters on water.
'Part One' Well I am already rewriting this, unsatisfied with my skills just yet.. But I've got this great story line in mind and I really want to put in down! Critique, tips and ideas are more than welcome!! Don't be carefull on me here!
