The first picture of four, inspired by the song 'Halo' by Oleander. This series was created out of an idea that songs are more than simply words. They are filled with symbolicism, with meaning, and when you close your eyes, you can see these things, but only when you open your ears. The verse inspiring this song was the chorus, reading: 'There's an ancor 'round my heart, draggin' me down, There's a halo above my head, spinnin' me round. ('cuz I don't know if I'm alive or dead) There's a dagger in my hand, bleeding me dry.' I inversed the picture to give it a sense of hopelessness, as the song implies, as well as the feeling of drowning. To see the original version, simply copy it and paste it into Paint, and click inverse on the image bar.
