The fourth and final piece (for now) of the Bard's Collection is inspired by the song 'Name' by Goo Goo Dolls. I absolutely love this band...I've loved them since their album 'A Boy Named Goo' back from when I was in...third or fourth grade. This song is sad like Hero and Halo, though more hopeful than the other two, it's more about comforting someone than anything. It's about a deep concern and caring for another, one who's lost their dreams and hope, the message, more than anything, being 'I'll be your sanctuary.' The chorus saying that comfort doesn't always have a name. The two verses inspiring this one were split by the chorus: 'I saw the dreams you never thought you'd lose, tossed along the way. Letters that you never meant to send, lost or blown away.' 'The scars are souvenirs you'd never lose, the past is never far. Did you lose yourself out there? Did you get to be a star? Don't it make you sad to know that life... is more than who we are.' The girl in the picture is reaching out to grab a letter that wasn't supposed to be sent, trying to collect the dreams, to give them back to their owner.
