An unplayable RPG character. She started out as an attempt to make my own version of the Avenger's Wasp. But that only lasted about 10 minutes. She became an exploration of myself and the belief's I stood for when I was a teenager. In this case, the old saying that 'gaming will lead you into the occult' became true for me through this character as I realized when exploring her personality that I was in fact questioning my own beliefs (isn't that what the teen years are all about anyway?). I'm no longer a Wiccan (what I am is a fairly complex issue involving both Jesus and Lao Tzu's teachings) but the character remains as a testiment to the opening of my mind.Seen here is my second 'anime' version of her, when she went from a blond white to an asian. Done in colored pencils. She was named Sylvia Chan (originally Sky) aka Nymph (she has some connection to nature spirits though it never fit her powers). As yet I have been unable to find a suitable super-name for her. Nymph makes everyone think there's something sexual going on which frankly there isn't. Of course, none of these pictures ever actually reflected the inner dialogue I was having with the character... Maybe someday I'll do up something reflective of that, or maybe not - it's a part of my past I've moved on from.RPG Wise, this character was never actually usable. I tried playing her once in a game in the mid 80s, and quickly realized it wouldn't work.
