Personal crest and coat of arms that I designed, inked and drew. The paper was aged using coffee and a hair dryer. The coat of arms depicts a white rose opon a shield bordered in black with three crosses. One at the top, and one on the right and left. The background of the shield can be enterpreted as being gravestones, theater seats, dragon scales or armour. the banner in the foreground of the shield can be enterpreted as a river, flowing music, or a road. On one side of the coat of arms is the dragon. The other, though it may resemble little more than a hjorse is in fact the Kelpie. Both legends of celtic and scottish oragin. They are have been remarked as being two sides of the same magic. Scrolled in the banner along the bottom is the phrase 'The story is all that matters. How it is told is why it matters.' this is written to show the importance of stories to me, also to show how a bard portays the legen is what makes it memorable. Perhaps one day it will be official and recognised as a coat of arms.
