(WARNING: this picture is a spoiler for Frostburn) Agony is the price That you'll pay in the end Domination consumes you Then calls you a friend It's a twisted fall Binds are like steel And manipulates the will to be And it's hard to see How soon we forget When there's nothing else Left to destroy It's a useless ploy Your eyes will see The dawn of the day And the writing On the wall Those words that stare Into your soul And to yourself You will befall It's domination pushed into living hell Domination a now blacked heart Is reaching out divinity Body suspended by chains over razors And nails it's a penalty Each razor a vice and each nail Marks the demise of you life. Grim construction grows Has life played a trick Sealed you in brick by brick Till your end forcing you to bend Your eyes will see The dawn of the day And the writing On the wall Those words that stare Into your soul And to yourself You will befall

Otherside

This story slipped out when I was listening to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers... hence the title.

Flight - In Arabic Verse

This is in a traditional Arabic poetry format called Quasida. It follows a three-part structure. The first section is Rememberance and an invocation of the lost love, the second Journey which often digresses into tangents about the meaning of the journey itself, and Boasting about the narriators wonderful qualities. The boast often end with a meditation on loss. In the Quasida, every verse has four lines, and as in ancient Greek poetry, many epithets are used for items and animals.

Terra Maturna

By now, this is a classic. It gives the perspective of what a hippie/environmentalist that has become disillusioned by society and turned goth, thinks about the world.

Skin of Snow, Heart of Ebony

The original title was Skin like Snow, Hair like Blood, and a Heart as Black as Ebony. Its my take on the classic 'Snow White' story. Oh, did I mention Adrian's back?

Night Blindness

Night Driving and Papa Roach: I ignored the Warning: Don't Mix label, as usual.

Golden

Meet Adrian, meet Chilali. Wonder how badly I can twist their tragic little lives? Badly.
