Flying Emerald

Allow me to introduce you to Emerald. She weighs 65 pounds, which I guess is the same as 30 Kilos... but do not quote me; now you know about how big she is. I told you this, because most people think she is much smaller, as she strangely still has the face of a puppy though being a full-grown dog. Yep, she is real; she is my dog. This arose from her colouring: she is almost all brown, but has two thick shock-white lines, each one just above her shoulder blades, as you should be able to see in the drawing. This led me to comment to my sister, 'That must be where her wings used to be connected.' and we found this was fairly funny. Doubtlessly, you can now see what led me to draw this.

This is the second part of the poem about Hrolthin (it follows 'Journey'). You now find out that Hrolthin is the 'Chosen One' and is destined to save the Finns... And yes, I WAS running short on Old Anglo-Saxon names, so I DID get Njörl from 'Njörl's Saga' in that one Monty Python episode. It just seemed like a perfectly stereotypical Anglo-Saxon name.
