Another work of art for an RPG I am developing for the iPhone. Still playing around with the style, trying to get it exactly the way I want it. Keeping with the thick, calligraphy style outlines and the dragged-over type of shading. Refined it all a bit, though, from my previous two works (You can find them in "Other Works"). Still not 100% satisfied with it, but I am starting to grow more fond of the technique. This would be a picture of a Life Leech doing what... well... they do best. The glowing ganglia at the end emits a light that is almost hypnotic when viewed in the leeches home environment of dark swamps. It uses this to entrance normal prey, and keep them immobile while it drains the life and blood from them. Unfortunately, it seems to have attracted something MUCH smaller than its "normal" prey.Poor faerie. Like a moth to a flame, it just can't resist the glowing light in all that darkness. Poor leech, too. That small creature is barely going to make a snack. NOTE: I put them on a black background, for now, but I plan on transfering them over to an actually background; something "swampy"; at a later date. For now, the black helps to contrast with the light and other colors.
