How attatched to a nightmare do you have to be in order to embrace every detail, going so far as to design, name, draw, and write about a character designed after that person you despise. Erik is my nightmare. The male he's designed after shall remain unnamed, but those who know me well know who I'm referring to. But he is not pure evil. Neither Erik nor the male are actually bad people. They're just very confused, and they don't know how to handle themselves or thier relationships. They go through transformations sometimes... For Erik, it would be the fault of a full moon and serious abandonment issues. And for his real-life counterpart, one can blame the calling of drugs and a bad home life. Either way, mental stability has veered entirely off course and left the mind with a barely standing foundation. Anything can send it crashing. From the need to protect his loved ones from himself to an extreme hatred for the said loved one to dare try and love again. Oblivion had a strange way of taking over one's eyes. There just comes a point when one can only hate onesself so much...and the feelings must replace the next strongest emotion, feeding like a parasite off of all that is loved.
