A machine raptor. It's based on something I sketched out in high school. Anyway, I felt like using a more playful style this round. Let me know how it turned out.
*Added later* Seems like this sketch has been a very popular piece. Thank you all for visiting. However, there also has been a lot of talk about the 'disappearance' of the pilot's legs, so I'll clear things up a bit here. First of all, yes this guy does have legs. I intentionally had him with a large head and a short stature, including short legs. Some call it SD or chibi style. And second, the area underneath the pilot is more spacious than it seems thanks to the optical illusion provided by the stripe. At least it's spacious enough for a chibi (or SD) pilot sitting on the cockpit floor. Anyway, I didn't write this to deter any of you from criticizing this piece, but please read this before you start telling me the guy has no legs. And please try not to be too critical about the anatomical accuracy because I didn't intend it this way. I sacrificed it in favor of something more playful. Of course some of you may disagree with this style in general, and there's nothing wrong with that. Anyway, thanks for reading my explanation.
