The left half of the Obsession diptych, this half is younger. Ever since they were created they have never parted each other and are only separated by their own frames. They accompany and oppose each other at the same time. While the sun represents warmth, energy, rising, femininity, the moon represents coolness, calmness, falling and masculinity but they both share the same theme of light. The idea behind this half is that the divine spirit is also possessed by the moon and his very life is bound to it. Here the moon sets and he carries it into the sea. These pictures are quite old. They are currently on exhibit ( I miss themE When I get them back I will upload them again as a single diptych so you guys at elfwood can fully appreciate it!
