This was done as an illustration for a poetry portfolio I was working on for a class. Or rather, I drew it while I was supposed to be working on my portfolio and then looked for a poem that would compliment it ;) I found the poem 'Skylark' by William Wordsworth. Mount, daring warbler! -that love-prompted strain.
('Twix thee and thine a never-failing bond),
Thrills not the less the bosom of the plain:
Yet mightest thou seem, proud privilege! to sing
All independent of the leafy Spring...'There's obviously more to the poem...you should read it sometime. In fact, read poetry in general every once in a while-it's good for you. ^_^
