He led us to the to the middle of the wasteland. We walked for what seemed to be days with no cycle of sun or moon. Finaly to the east the moon rose over the mountainous horizon illuminating the desert and the strange interuptions to the otherwise vacant landscape. There he told us to sit. As we did so a small fire crawled out of the sand. We watched as it grew biger and biger widening all the time. The heat was beggining to bead on our foreheads and we scurried back to a safer distance.
