I’m thinking something along the lines of, “You shall not pass!” for this one. Heh, it’s not even what I wanted to draw to start out with, but then the scene just sort of took over. It’s been too long since I last drew Chi. Notice the golden eye colour? Well, basically, it’s a signal to clear off in a certain hurry, because it means that Chi is starting to get upset. (Ready for some more background info on my char? Here goes:) Chi is, in short, the holder of the Key to open portals. More specifically, the portal that is located in Gateway, which leads to the Realm where departed spirits hang out. Essentially, if Chi ever managed to become seriously emotionally disturbed while inside the fort, she would open a rift to this other plane and, possibly, drag a whole bunch of deceased ghosts back to life. When Chi is not in at Gateway, but still becomes distressed, she just opens rifts in the plane on which she is already in, which automatically shifts her from one place in the world to another. Only way to predict where she might end up, is by having a look at where the Key holder has previously opened a rift, because it is there that she has a possibility of showing up again. The tears opened by the Key carriers’ emotions close after a period of time that depends on how severe their outburst was.
