Aw, baby griffin too cute for me to draw, innit? *Cooing the cute petite griffy* I love this little guy, despite the fact that it seems to have been born with very deformed legs (did I mention that I almost never draw animals and therefore, naturally, stink at drawing them when I, occasionally, try to do so?) But behold, this picture also has a “background”! What’s next?! So, pic description: Master Pantaleon, gatekeeper and healer, and a friend of the griffins of Seirios Lon since his youth when he spent nearly five years in the Burning Lands. That’s the reason for his earring, too – although the Rule of the Cant Order forbids adornments of any kind (save for the emblem of the order), Pan is allowed to wear his gold hoop and griffin feather because it marks him as a member of a Bedouin tribe allied with the griffin, a creature otherwise known not to trust humans. In this drawing, I imagine that Pan is just returning to Seirios Lon after twenty years of absence.
