She shook her finger at her sons who sat stifly next to one another on the padded seat. She left, locking the door behind her and muttering irrably to herself. Sam turned nervously to look at Rowan. Rowan said nothing, pulled down the mask over his eyes, turned his back to him, and sulked. " Rowan?" Sam whispered nervously. Rowan didn't answer. " Rowan?" Sam asked again, reaching out to touch his back. " Please talk to me...I'm sorry..." Rowan glared at the plants in front of him. " I have nothing to say to you." He spat.' Oh dear! This is a scene from the third book in my series, Rowan's Riddle, where Rowan and Sam have their first massive arguement. This arguement then leads to Rowan's mysterious disappearance and Sam's quest to bring him back safely. This is the start of Sam's magical journey that takes him and his friends all over the mystical island of Eronda!
