Is this magic or a painted illusion! - The only correct coloured square is the front right, (white).The Imps' bishops are both on the same coloured squares. (If you do not belive the butterfly, then cut out the little sample at the bottom left, then place it over the bishop's sqaures). I am going to try and paint this in oils, and will post an update if it works.I thought my idea was an original, but after one year covered with oil-paint, I was gutted to find that Ted Adelson, (M.I.T. Vision Scientist) has already used this type of illusion, so I duly credit his "checkerboard and shadow illusion".
