King Uther Pen Dragon

Sci fi/Fantasy image by

This is a bust made from white clay of King Uther Pendragon, also known as King Arthur's father. Originally, it was going to be King Arthur, but he looked more like a war king than a chivalrous king, so it's Uther. When I was firing it, the back pieces of armour came off, but other than that it turned out perfectly. I made this in my grade 12 art class, and I was the only one who's sculpture didn't explode in the kiln. This head is slightly larger than a real one, and it weighs about twenty pounds.Another survivor of Chris' Christmas Delete-a-thon 2006Medium: White clay
