Here is a first picture of Brom. It was done like many of my works before I learned some of the advanced coloring technques I do now. I may recolor him but here is the old version. I'm pasting a brief quote from the story 'Predawn Dreams' Thunder… It always had a way of reaching straight into my soul. Looking out at the darkened summer sky I could not help but feel humbled. No power of the living had ever held this much magnificence. The rain started and fell onto my body. Though soft to the touch I knew of the destruction water could cause. I have seen canyons of the strongest rock cut in two by its persistence. Legend of my kind told of a time where the entire living world had been destroyed. They spoke that it wasn’t the fearful sound of the thunder. It was the gentle drop of rain. In the lightless hours of predawn I watched the unfolding weather. Even with its revelations the sound of a storm always comforted me. I enjoyed listening to what must be the heartbeat of the world. While experiencing the Omnipotent song I always understood my place as merely mortal.
