First rule with parrots (besides screaming) is that there is not a single species that can swim. They can float for five minutes when they land with their wings outstreached, but otherwise they're doomed if they land in water. That's why I created this image and species. I'm facinated with the possibility of a water parrot evolving in the next million or so years. I drew this image in an attempt to let my brain think. I'm quite pleased. I may invent an entirly new order, complete with subspecies! Heehee! The scribbling across the image says 'Stellers Diving Parrot - aka 'Diver' '. I thought it would be a fitting name for a species that would have been found by the scientist :-) .
