I am so very iffy about this picture, torn between liking it a lot or disregarding it as a sloppy irregular sketch. Drawn in three phases, first the body was drawn replete with proportions that would put an ape to shame. Then the lower half of the body was erased (A portent of doom), alowing me to redraw the legs. Finaly much later I decided to experiment with loose high-speed backgrounds. Oh the horror! The background suggests that the viewer is at the figures knee level, while the figure itself indicates that the viewer is at armpit level. Not to mention the brances that finish in mid-air, background that doesnt extend to all borders, and smudge marks. On the other hand despite (or because of) the perspective trickery, it seems to have a fair bit of depth, atmosphere, and pose. I dont know about you but it looks very cold to me.
