First illustration for the project 'the five dreamers'. It is my character Crescent, the central character of the dreamcatcher because it is her who says 'thank you' for all the inspiration, help or friendship, to the other four dramers (incoming, I still can´t reveal the identity of those dreamers). Also has another interpretation, one that explains the title of the picture, as this character is meant to be a wolf shaman; here it goes: Winter is the most threatening season for animals. The sweet water that brings life turns into deadly ice, there is no food wherever you look, small animals get quickly frozen or eaten when they come out of their cold little dens, and even the wind is aggressive and evil, bringing only death in the shape of frost. So, in the rage of winter, even the eyes of the great predator, the wolf, seem kind. A warm gaze that gives hope to the pack, a gaze that says 'there is always Spring, after the Winter'.
