In the first Devin Wesscot image, I mentioned that the vampires had wings that glowed read. I forgot to mention that they are basically black when fully 'hardened', and that not ALL of them glow red (I've forgotten quite a bit of the world I'd created, unfortunately). Devin Wesscot's are more bluish. The wings don't have much real purpose except for displaying their vampiric age, power and rank (and tend to look slightly different between alpha and follower, male and female -and yes, there are alpha females as well). Devin's vampiric age was always unknown, but he is very powerful (and his power is increasing), and his rank would be alpha-male, leader or like a 'prince', if he'd ever be the type to lead a group. However, Devin is a rogue who is more antisocial in general (both towards vampires and humans), keeping mostly to himself at this point. He had a destiny to do something great, but at the point I'd gotten him in the story I was creating, he had not yet learned that he was really anything special, other than just happening to be, very obviously, an alpha-male. I was not happy with his face in this image, but by the time I realized it, it was too late to change it, so I've always really hated it (mainly that his head-shape is slightly wrong and his eyes are too far apart).
At least the image shows the golden cross necklace he wears (which has no meaning, he just likes it) and his usual attire beneath the trenchcoat. Same technique used to create this image as was with the first of Devin Wesscot ('Devin Wesscot').
