Just a half-elf character of mine that I ended up never doing anything with, except for this single picture. And, there is a little, really light, fox-ghosty face behind her (meant as a symbol of her spirit and strength). The picture looks much better in real life, of course. She has absolutely nothing to do with 'Lord of the Rings' or any other existing book, movie, series, game or what-have-you that features elves. She was not even inspired by the shows. Just a group of us planning out some fantasy-based characters just in case we'd ever want to do some sort of role-play or story or something of the like, though it ended up just being more for fun and gave me a chance to show off my art to my LDS aqcuaintances and get a little, very little, critique. I later ended up using the picture as a sample when I was teaching a voluntary art-class for some boy scouts. Created with pencils on regular printer paper, I consider this a complete, finished sketch, though scanning it made the lines look much more choppy, and made the little ghost way lighter, than it is in real life. And, unfortunately, I was unable to get the scanner to do any better than that (it was an old, old, old scanner that died/burned out a few scans later).
