This was originally inspired by an emotion and a desire to create something flowing and beautiful. And then turned into a study in perspective and a more cartoony-body style and some obvious anime influence for the style her face (as I've said in the intro to my gallery, my style includes some very obvious anime influence). The ribbon in the image was originally supposed to be a spell that she'd cast in order to increase the visual appeal (she's a sorceress floating/dancing in the air and casting visual spells, had I finished the image, that would have been way more apparent). If you can't tell, I like foxes; and so, like with the half-elf sketch, she has foxish-influence.. possibly she has a fox-spirit or kitsune inside her, or maybe she just created the illusion along with the ribbon to entrance her audience even more. I always intended to finish it, but ended up loving it just in this sketch, as-is, way and was afraid that anything else I'd do to it to complete it or advance it further, would only ruin it. Made with various pencils on normal white, printer/copier paper.
