"Her task is complete Polgara. You must let her go. If you don't, we'll lose both of you." "I can't go on without her, mother. If she goes, I'll go with her." "Do it, my daughter. The Master commands it - and so does UL." "I can't mother. I can't. She's the center of my life!" . . . . But it does and Polgara's twin sister Beldaran is taken away from her, forever. This is an few lines from the 754 page novel 'Polgara the Sorceress' by David and Leigh Eddings. I adore all of their fantasy books and this one is my favorite. Polgara is such a strong woman and good role model with or without her magic! I could go on forever about her but I think I'll just let you read the book! And it is worth reading! Just read the series the Belgariad and the Mallorean first, kay? A little about the art: my first attempt in years at drawing something NOT anime. What do ya think? I was trying to develop an illustrating style for my fav novels. Fellow Eddings fans, did I portray Pol very well?
