One of four in a seriers entitled "The Sinner, the Saviour, the Lover and the fool."The four pieces are self portraits of four key elements of my personality, with this one depicting the Sinner within me. It represents the darkness in me, not only the external darkness in the forms of bad deeds onto others, but also an internal darkness, which causes me to treat myself badly, and resent my self. I chose the female figure, because it symbolises not only temptation, but also a certain sense of emotional volitility. It represents the temptations I've led people into, and the temptations I have not denied myself, resulting in the unnecessary suffering of those involved. It also represents a truelly wicked streak within me, that is capable of incredibly dark and unscrupulous spite and malice.Letraset pro-markers and Caran Dache Pablo pencils on Daler Rowney Marker Paper.
