You know that wierd feeling you sometimes get when you think you know too much? Amber knows it all too well, now. Due to a curious impulse, she begins to scry in on the humans going about practising their magics. What she didn't expect was for a human mage to be doing the same thing to her. The clash of magic opens a rift in the space between dimensions, and Amber sees just how puny she is, contrary to her own esteem due to her own abilities. The be-all and see-all of the world opens and entraps her forever in the eye of destiny, for her to embrace the gift of fortune reading as often as she desires, yet never to escape unless some coincidental circumstances manage to occur...It may not seem apparent, but I actually used some watercolors in this picture (shock alert!! shock alert!!). I'm probably still inept at it, but I found out that they're quite fun, and'll probably attempt some more paintings with them. As for the picture, it's about half painted and three quarters edited in photoshop. It was done as a birthday present for my auntie, who's birthday was today (Oct. 11), so I hope she likes it! What do you think?
