Dyspnea and Quffill

Dyspnea is an Elf Princesses that gets out of scrapes with her good pal Quffill, the magical rodent perched on her shoulder.  Her father the Elf King commissioned me, the humblest human, to do her portrait.  I must tell you she could hardly sit still while Quffill was content with watching his lovely mistress the whole time.  I heard just recently that they accidentally freed the old Boggy Waters Hag from her tower prison.  Too bad no one thought to warn the overly curious Dyspnea not to break the enchantment on that particular door.  Fortunately, Dyspnea and Quffill worked together to ensnare the Hag back into her tower gaol before the Elf King heard of the mishap.  I was delighted to paint her picture and am glad to bring a piece of the faerie world to you. This is from a pen and ink sketch I did that I turned into a watercolour painting.  7 inches by 7 inches, watercolour, April 2008
