Awww, Mewr's smiling. That's kinda rare. This is a picture of Mewr, a Master Warbler, and a Devourer, with her little dragonfly Opal. The original design of the dragonfly is (C) SkieBorne on Gaiaonline.com. Anyway, Mewr is a Trillium. That made her eligible for a kind of depressing combination of classes. She's a Warbler, meaning she can speak with song, and being a Master, she can do practically anything she wants with it. She can warble so high that your ears will bleed. She can hum so low that your bones will shake. She can sing so sweetly that you'll fall in love - if only for the duration of the song - and make you see images in your mind's eye. But she can't talk. She's mute. Couple this with being a Devourer, a rare and advanced class of dragon, one that is capable of forcefully taking the soul from your body and merging it with her own, making her stronger. If untrained or uncontrolled, bad things could happen. Her Friend (for Trillium, due to the Trillium pact their name derives from, do not Bond with humans like the Ilium do) was her first accidental victim; it traumatized Mewr. If the merging is done improperly, one can go insane, and an insane Devourer is not very welcome. And so the current Master Devourer had been suspicious of her talents, but was not quick enough to save Mewr's Friend. He completed the merging, saving Mewr's life and insanity, but now, being bereaved of her only Friend and mute, she's somewhat angsty. Mewr moved outside of the city and lives in a cave like a hermit, now, but her abilities are not put to waste. She'll sometimes tutor a promising pupil Warbler when they are thought to have enough talent. Personally, I think she should get over herself. It's not like she's a Warbler with no skill, which would have been worse. And living in the forest, she befriended a dragonfly, which is a special thing indeed. In the story, she will have to realize how selfish she's being. The mourning for her friend has just turned into self-pity. But, in the face of a danger that threatens to conquer the entire continent, and self-sacrifice, Mewr will change, with the help of a Guide stone.
