Lion was always a bully. When he grew up, becoming a marine was his dream come true, then becoming the commander of a black ops special forces team was his greatest achievement. But then the wars destroyed the planet and war was put aside in favor of saving their species, and he was changed from war hero, to head of starship security and was chosen to serve aboard a Earthling Terraforming ship. Tasked with finding a compatable world in order to save the dying species (humans) they came across the perfect world. They named it Neo-Earth, and decided this was their new homeworld. They sent word to the first wave of colonists to head here. But...during the time it took for them to arrive and the sending of the invitation, the primary star of Neo-Earth erupted in unstable solar energy. The flare swept over the planet and nothing was able to survive including the terraformers. However, at that moment, fate stepped in and a passing creature of enormous cosmic power took pity upon the dying world and decided to save it. To do this deed, the creature imbued the planet and its occupants with a small bit of its infinate power. Not only did this save the terraformers, but it imbued them with powers that took the form and function of their most dominate nature. For the ships tactical officer, this meant his emotions influenced the emotions of those around him. When he was mad, people fought, when he was sad, people brooded. He quickly learned to curb his 'natural' impulses. Unfortunately, the changes to the terraformers were too much for the colonists to handle, and they were cast out. But the star that shined upon Neo-Earth was not finished. It swept the planet again withering the new lives there. But the terraformers, imbued with cosmic powers themselves now, took it upon themselves to save their comrades. They found a new planet...Tri-Terra...and there they reformed the humans into the animorphs they are now. Lion, the god of War, while the most violent of the Tri-terran gods, is also the physically strongest. His first instinct is usually to fight and he is easilly the muscle behind the words. He works closely with Death and while he does have a vague sence of honor, he will usually use his strength to attain his goals.
