So.. I was drawing this lovely portrait of Madam Medusa.. too bad I had to do it blindfolded. Nevertheless, she was kind enough to explain every little detail for me, so that I could capture her features without turning to stone. Welll... being the curious little girl that I am, I just HAD to sneak a peek to see if the legends were true! *holds up a stone left arm* I'M A DUMBA**. -lol-
*dodges Meg's whip and cowers* FINALLY! After months and months of listening to Meg asking 'Where's my MEDUSA?!' I've FINALLY gotten off my lazy arse and started work on it. This took me 3-4 hours from start to finish, that is, to go from sketch, to inking, color, scan, and finally to downsize the file and take out the seam where I was drawing it on two pieces of paper (started a perfect sketch and then realized that I wouldn't have enough room for the whole thing), etc etc etc. Since showing 'Medusa' around a little bit, one of my buddies has asked me to do a commission for him (Fwee!! I actually get paid to do this for once!! Mwahahaha!). This is actually, in my opinion, the best piece I've ever done. I'm very proud of it, and to show it, it's up on my refridgerator for my mom! *LOL* (no seriously, it is. ^-^) Regular mechanical lead pencil to sketch the drawing, black double-tipped Sharpie marker to ink it, and Crayola markers (*shudders and vows to save up enough money for a full set of Prismacolors*).
