Medusa, the Snake Goddess

This is a picture I drew for my friend for her english project thingy. She got Medusa, I got Scylla and Charybdis. I'm going to draw them too. If you don't know who Scylla and Charybdis are, they are both monsters who live opposite of each other in the Strait of Messina that seperates Italy and Sicily. Scylla was once a beautiful nymph that got turned into a 12 legged, 6 serpent-headed monster with the top of a woman with barking dogs coming out of her stomach. Charybdis was a nymph daughter of Poseidon who Zeus turned into a whirlpool and she swallows the sea and spits it up 3 times a day. I love mythology. Read Homer's Odyssey.
