Lena Bazhenova

I'm really not good at talking about myself. To make a long story short, I was born in Ukraine and moved over to the US six years ago. Currently I'm 17 and a freshman in college. I've been dabbling with digital art since early 2007, and still have an extremely long way to go :)If you want to know more, just take a look at my paintings. I daresay they'll tell you plenty about me :) Or simply ask if there's anything specific you'd like to know :)And if you like my work, you may also take a look at my devART page -- http://elitha.deviantart.com -- it's updated a bit more often and you can find more varied paintings there as they are not limited to a fantasy genre :) I AM CURRENTLY OPEN FOR COMMISSIONS. I can do anything from simple character portraits to full-blown paintings. Contact me for pricing info. click here -- it's a fun little time waster  * Want to know what I'm working on now? Take a look at my WIP thread here. ** Some of my paintings have been published in a magazine called 'Forbidden Whispers' alongside some awesome artists. It's really an honor! Please check it out --  http://www.fwpublishing.co.uk/fw/fw006.html* I am currently open for commissions. Sea of Secrets (1): Reunion

The initial spark of inspiration for this story came from a most unlikely source -- one of Bouguereau's paintings. It's eveolved quite a bit since then =) All I can tell you is that it's about pirates.Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it, and I hope that it will capture your interest because there will be more to come =)

Driven by Wrath

This is a story I wrote to go along with one of my (rather awful) paintings. Surprisingly, I got a massive amount of positive feedback and suggestions that I start a library shelf in addition to my gallery. Well, here it is.
